Coach Walker is a proud alum of Minneapolis Southwest HS (‘91) where he played both varsity football and basketball, earning All-City honors and Honorable Mention All-State. After high school Coach Walker went on to play football at Concordia University - St. Paul where he earned All-Conference honors twice. While at CSP, Coach Walker also earned his bachelor and masters degrees. Coach Walker has been coaching boys and girls youth travel, AAU and high school in both football and basketball for over 20 years. Coach Walker has assisted Coach McMillan for the past 9 years at Richfield where they have earned back to back State Tournament appearances. Coach Walker is a proud father to Michael Walker (30), Richfield graduate, and 2 daughters Alyse (22) and Alexandra Walker (20), both graduates of the Academy of Holy Angels and AHA basketball players. Coach Walker is married to his high school sweetheart Amy Walker and they are celebrating 25 years of marriage this year.
